Today’s comic is another untranslatable one. This one refers to a point in a child’s mental development they will draw limbs coming directly out of the head. The resulting abomination is called a «hodefoting» in Norwegian. (hode=head, fot=foot) As far as we could find out, there’s no equivalent word in English. If we were to dare coin such a term it would be something along the lines of head-footer.

Armed with that knowledge, and knowing our fondness for puns, you might see how we thought it would be hilarious to change one letter and draw a «hodepoting». «Pote» means «paw», so we’ve got a head-paw creature.

On second thought, maybe the picture is funnier without the explanation! 😉
